Lest We Forget

Lest We Forget

Lest we forget, pay our respects,

To the women and men who served our land.

They heard the call, they marched in time,

For our country gave their lives lest we forget.

Going from their homes and families they saw the job

That needed to be done away in distant lands.

For the sake of freedom, freedom everywhere,

The sons and daughters of Australia were there.

Chorus

From ANZAC Cove to the trenches of the Somme they bravely fought

And through Kokada’s muddy mountains battled on,

From the jungles of Vietnam, to Korea, Afghanistan,

We celebrate their lives, we thank them one and all.

Chorus

Honeywood Harmony Day

26 February 2018

Dear Parents / Guardians,

Honeywood Harmony Day

The Senior Choir has been invited to perform at Honeywood Harmony Day on Sunday 11th March. This is a multicultural festival celebrating diversity.

The event will be held at Honeywood Primary School Oval, Magenup Drive in Wandi. All students are required to meet at 11.20am at the stage.

We will be performing 2 songs, Dreams and This is Me, which will feature solos from Kyla, Brooke, Alayna and Kloe.

The event is free and will run from 11am to 3pm if your family wishes to enjoy the festivities. It will feature a range of performers, artists and food vendors, with loads of activities for adults and children to enjoy.

Students are required to wear their school uniform. They must wear their purple school shirts, school shorts or skorts and their school jacket if needed.

Limited parking is available at the venue and a free shuttle bus will also be available from the Local Farmers Market.

The Senior Choir will no longer be performing at the Lakeland SHS Music Spectacular matinee show as the event has been cancelled.
