Chickenpox Notification

Dear Parents

We have become aware in the last week that a couple of students have contracted mild cases of Chickenpox.

As this is a contagious disease, we recommend that you be more alert than usual to any signs of skin irritation or blisters on your child/children as this could be a sign that they have contracted it.

In the event that you child/children has Chickenpox, they may return to school (if well) after all blisters have crusted –usually in 10 days form onset.

It would be appreciated if you could advise the school if your child/children has Chickenpox in order that we can monitor the extent of the outbreak and take the necessary actions as required.
