Oral Language Presentation

This term we have already ended our home spelling program and our home reading books will finish at the end of Week 7. In lieu of this, during weeks 8, 9 and 10 students will be asked to do an oral language presentation which they can prepare at home.

Oral Presentation Homework

In weeks 8, 9 and 10 students will be asked to give an oral presentation about significant family events/traditions. You can make your presentation using a prompt such a poster, keynote/powerpoint (on a USB), artefact or costume.

The presentation should include, but is not limited to:

ï The type of event and why you celebrate/commemorate it.

ï Who is involved in the event?

ï Where does it take place?

ï What do you do?

ï Why do you do these things?

Examples (but not exclusively) include Christmas, Birthdays, Religious ceremonies, to Annual Camping Trips or other regular family events.

Please ensure your student is prepared to share by the Mon 27 Nov and we will have several students a day presenting over the 2-3 weeks.

We are learning to give an oral presentation.
