What a busy term! We are only 8 days away from the end of term and it promises to be a very busy few days.
Next Wednesday evening is our Aubin Grove Open Night where all families are invited to come along and walk through classrooms and learning areas to see what we have been up to. As we are putting the final touches on activities, and beginning to hang our displays could I please request that we have kiss and drop each day beginning tomorrow. Of course, you are welcome to pop in or send an email if you need to speak to me.
Progress folders will be coming home next Thursday for you to look at over the holidays and return at the beginning of Term 4.
This week will be our last week of home learning for the term. Could all homework folders and home reading books please be sent in on Friday this week.
Along with Open Night and progress folders, next week is also Book Week. A reminder that our weather themed dress up is next Friday and we will be seeing the visiting author, Meg McKinlay, on Thursday.
Last week we had a great week with Outdoor Classroom Day. On Tuesday we went to the oval with Room 41 and learnt and practised maths skills in the sunshine! We made graphs and clocks using our bodies, and on Thursday we practised posing questions and collecting data outside. We also had an amazing Japanese drumming incursion. We saw lots of Japanese instruments, found out some of the history of the instruments and some students were able to go up and have a turn.
Have a great evening!
