I hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday and is looking forward to getting back to school tomorrow!
We have an exciting event happening in our first week back, with the Big Splash on Friday. This is a day focusing all around R U OK? Day and mental health and wellbeing. Mrs Devine has planned some great activities around this, and we will also be enjoying a Konga dance incursion. All students are invited to wear yellow to celebrate the day.
A few other notes:
This term our library sessions will return to Wednesday mornings, rather than Mondays.
We will continue Kiss and Drop on Tuesdays and Thursdays and encourage that on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays students come in and are responsible for setting themselves up for the day and organising their materials.
There will be no homework grid or reading book in Week 1. Homework will resume in Week 2.
Our Junior Faction Carnival will be on Wednesday 25th October (Week 3) with further details to follow. Friday 27th October is a Staff Development Day and as such there will be no school for students.
Enjoy a relaxing Sunday before we head into a busy Term Four!
