HOME LEARNING

Home learning in Year 5 should take about 20 minutes each week night. My students will receive a fortnightly grid which will be distributed on a Monday (odd weeks) and will be due the following Friday (even weeks).

The grids will include activities like:

• Spelling sorts – Words Their Way
• Recall of basic Maths facts – Mastery Folder
• Mathletics
• Literacy and Numeracs tasks to revise and consolidate concepts learned in class.
• Cooperative Reading tasks
• Research tasks
• Home Duties
• Unfinished work

Each fortnight the grid will be uploaded onto the class blog for students to access as they need to!
