The Business  and Community Directory is being provided to keep you informed of what is available in the Aubin Grove area for you and your children.  We hope you find it useful and informative. Please feel free to make any similar community organisations aware of this service and invite them to email the school if they wish to be included.

2019 WINTER SOFTBALL SEASON – COCKBURN COUGARS

Cockburn Cougars Softball Club is situated at Enright Reserve in Hamilton Hill and we are a family orientated club who enjoy helping children and adults of all ages and levels of experience, have fun playing the sport we love.
We are always on the look out for any new volunteers, who are interested in taking on roles within or around our little Club.
The season start dates are as follows and usually finishes in Mid September:
Mens - 07/04/19
Ladies - 06/04/19
U18 Boys - 03/05/19
U18 Girls - 03/05/19
Juniors - 05/05/19
Sub-Juniors - 05/05/19
Our Club has kidsport grant available, if applicable.

Mooditj Spirits

At Mooditj Spirits we provide a safe space for Aboriginal young people aged 12–24 where they can build and share their cultural knowledge and life experiences. This program is based around traditional dance, language, cooking and dream time stories and includes mentoring with the City’s Aboriginal Outreach Officer - Nell Penny and one-on-one with cultural leaders Uncle Timmy Kelly and Sister Rickeeta Walley.

The program is in partnership with Aboriginal Productions Promotions, YouthReach South and Strong Spirit Strong Mind - Metro Project.

Youth Week Human Library

Good Stories of Young People in Cockburn

Join us to hear unique and fascinating stories from living books at a human library where common perceptions, stereotypes and prejudices are explored through dialogue and storytelling.

No registration is necessary and everyone is welcome.

Coogee Jetty to Jetty

The annual Coogee Jetty to Jetty open water swim is back again for it's 23rd year.
This WOW swim event is family friendly and caters for all abilities and ages.

Choose from three swim distances: 1500m Classic, 750m Splash or the 250m Try-it (designed especially for the kids or those wanting to have a go at open water swimming).
The morning includes a BIG Community breakfast, Kids zone, Sponsors alley and some giant inflatable ducks #daphneisback

Cockburn ARC Junior Sports Clinic

Cockburn Youth Centre Term 1 program is now open for booking.

With a huge range of programs and activities for young people aged 10-17 there is sure to be something for everybody. Create some tasty treats in Our Kitchen Rulz, keep fit with young men’s and young women’s boxing, take to the stage with drama, and get lost in a world of might and magic with Pathfinder.

Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy Available Now at Aubin Grove Primary

Kids Are Kids! have experienced Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists visiting Aubin Grove Primary School every week. We have appointments available for assessment and therapy to help your child if they are struggling with an aspect of their development. Appointments can be arranged during school hours, with minimal disruption to their classroom routine and provide strategies to teachers to support your child in the classroom.

Kids Are Kids! is a not for profit organisation providing Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Clinical Psychology to children aged 0-18 years with disabilities and developmental needs. We are proud to be working with Aubin Grove Primary to support the learning and development of their students.
